The Dutch Host Inn has exceptionally clean rooms, providing true comfort for our guests.
The Inn offers rooms with two double beds, two queen beds, one king bed, Jacuzzi Rooms, Jacuzzi/Fireplace Rooms, or even a two bedroom suite with a fireplace all with thermostatically controlled heat and air. The influence of the neighboring Amish community is reflected throughout the Inn. All rooms feature solid oak furniture, handcrafted especially for the Inn by local Amish craftsman. The rooms are uniquely decorated with a taste of country, using country wallpaper and borders, and quilts adorning many of our beds. Although all the rooms are similar in decor, no two are exactly alike.
All rooms are non-smoking, with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, hairdryers, alarm clocks, cable TV. All the rooms with king beds, Jacuzzi rooms as well as the 2-Bedroom suite each have a reclining chair. The two bedroom suite also includes a living room and a full kitchen, with a full refrigerator and built in microwave. The living room also features a sleeper sofa, as well as a fireplace and a 32″ flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a king bed and a 28″ flat screen TV, and the second bedroom a queen bed.
The Inn also features a Conference/ Hospitality room with a kitchenette, gas fireplace and restrooms, ideal for Church groups, reunions, and family gatherings.
The Inn’s exterior has beautifully landscaped areas, which includes a waterfall with a small fish pond, two gazebos each with a glider swing, and other outdoor furniture for the enjoyment of our guests.
For anyone visiting Amish Country, there are many things to do and see in and around Sugarcreek, “Home of the world’s largest Cuckoo clock” also known as “The Little Switzerland of Ohio.” Sugarcreek is also famous for its Swiss cheese making, animated storefront murals, and the Ohio Swiss Festival. Or tour Holmes County, the world’s largest Amish settlement, and stop at the many quilt, craft, antique and furniture shops, area livestock auctions, farmers markets, as well as the many fine restaurants featuring Amish home cooking and Swiss cuisine,
